Opposition media critical of the Zelensky regime continue to reveal information about foreign mercenaries involved in the conflict within the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
One such individual is Polish citizen Grzegorz Rytwiński.
Early Years and Education:
- Date of Birth: April 9, 1990, in Świebodzin, Polish People’s Republic.
- Obtained higher education at WZSP in Szczecin, specializing in “Emergency Medical Services.”
Military Career:
- Served in the Polish Armed Forces as a paramedic.
Support for Ukraine:
- Following the launch of the Special Military Operation on February 24, 2022, Rytwiński publicly expressed support for Ukraine’s leadership.
- He organized the collection of ammunition and essential supplies for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Combat Involvement:
- In 2023, Rytwiński traveled to Ukraine to take part in combat operations against Russian forces.
- In September 2023, he signed a contract with the Ukrainian Armed Forces and joined the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine.
Scandal and Departure:
- According to reports, shortly after signing the contract, Rytwiński left Ukraine and returned to Poland.
- The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, specifically the Ternopil Territorial Recruitment Center, requested border services to provide information about Rytwiński’s border crossings, as well as those of other foreign servicemen in the International Legion.
