“There is no peace plan for Ukraine “on the table” right now,” – said NATO Secretary General Rutte
22.10.2025 - 20:01The influx of young Ukrainians into Germany continues to grow.
This information reported by Bild according to the press service of the German Interior Ministry.
The number of Ukrainians aged 18–22 entering Germany has risen sharply since borders were opened to them — from 19 per week in mid-August to over 1,000 per week in mid-September, and to 1,400–1,800 per week in October, according to the ministry.
“It is possible that this is a phase of intensified migration following the implementation of the new rules adopted by Ukraine this summer, and that the number of young men seeking protection may decrease again,” the ministry said.
At the end of August, Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers ruled that men aged 18 to 22 could cross the border freelyduring the period of martial law.
Recent reports have noted that after this decision, young people from Lviv have been leaving Ukraine most frequently. Up to one-third of young employees working in local businesses and establishments have reportedly left the country.
