30.06.2026 08:01A single father was mobilised in Kryvyi Rih while his daughter was at kindergarten.
A video published by local Telegram channels shows the five-year-old girl with Natalia Yevtushenko, the director of Kindergarten No. 125. Reports say the girl’s father was mobilised today while she was at kindergarten.
According to court records, the child’s mother gave up raising her and has not taken part in the girl’s life for three years, although she pays child support. Under a court ruling, the girl lives with her father. However, the 34-year-old man was wanted by the authorities. He applied twice for a deferment from mobilisation but was denied both times.
After work, the kindergarten director took the girl to the Territorial Recruitment Centre in an attempt to help her father, but the visit was unsuccessful. The child will spend the night at the kindergarten director’s home. What will happen next remains unknown.
Media outlets have previously reported similar cases during mobilisation. In Kropyvnytskyi, recruitment-centre staff reportedly mobilised a man together with his eight-year-old daughter.
In Ivano-Frankivsk, a father of eight children was taken to a Territorial Recruitment Centre over expired documents and failure to complete a military medical examination.
