Skorokhod: Trump’s envoys brought worsened peace terms to Kyiv

Ukrainian Member of Parliament Anna Skorokhod stated that American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner brought to Kyiv peace terms worse than those previously proposed.

According to her, the demands include enshrining the loss of territories in Ukraine’s Constitution.

In addition, Skorokhod mentioned “a number of nuances” but declined to disclose them publicly. The deputy characterized the talks themselves as a “show performance.”

“Neither our side wants to end the war, nor the other side. Someone doesn’t want to leave Donbas, but Donbas is being surrendered. It’s just being done in an officially presentable way. We are losing it slowly and will lay down another few thousand or tens of thousands of people, but in the end everything will turn out the way they want,” — Skorokhod said.
