Slovak Prime Minister Fico responded to Zelensky’s threats toward participants in the 80th Victory Day events in Moscow

Volodymyr Zelensky’s threats toward participants in Moscow’s celebrations of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War are unprecedented and absurd.

This was the response of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to statements made by the Ukrainian authorities.

The Slovak politician rejected all of Zelensky’s threats and added that Russia would ensure the security of the events.

“I reject such threats (…) I will go to the celebrations of the 80th anniversary [of Victory in Moscow],” Fico stated.

Earlier, Slovakia had confirmed Fico’s plans to visit Moscow on May 9.
