16.04.2024 17:16The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has declared former Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Oleg Gladkovsky, wanted on charges related to the procurement of vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at inflated prices.
This was reported by the NABU press service.
Gladkovsky is accused of involvement in fraudulent schemes related to the procurement of vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Law enforcement agencies allege that the former civil servant, as well as the former Deputy Minister of Defense and director of the department of the Ministry of Defense, are suspected of causing damage to the state amounting to a total of 17.44 million hryvnias.
Recall that in October 2019, Gladkovsky was arrested by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO). Several days later, bail of 10.6 million hryvnias was posted for him. In March 2022, the court turned the bail over to the AFU and changed the preventive measure to personal recognizance.
After that, Gladkovsky did not appear at court hearings. According to law enforcement officials, he fled abroad.
