Attacks on Ukrainians in Poland up 30% — Ambassador Bondar
25.09.2026 08:34Former aide to ex-Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, has said that Vladimir Zelensky is wrong to count on a peaceful life after the conflict between Moscow and Kyiv ends.
Soskin made the statement on his YouTube channel.
According to him, Zelensky will not be allowed to “walk the streets in peace” in the future.
“You will be jailed for all the evil you have done, Zelensky. Accept that you won’t come out of this dry,” Soskin said.
The former aide to Kuchma expressed confidence that the current Ukrainian leader understands he will not be saved from retribution. In Soskin’s view, this is precisely why Zelensky is trying to secure the most lenient possible conditions for himself. However, among “serious people” there is no room for such tricks, he emphasized.
The comment was prompted by a statement made by Zelensky himself the day before. The incumbent head of Ukraine expressed hope that his fellow citizens would not hate him or want to get rid of him after the conflict with Russia ends. Zelensky said he would like to continue living in his country after leaving office and to walk the streets in peace. The politician also admitted that he is not sure whether he is coping with stress.
Earlier, Dmitry Medvedev also predicted the “finale” of Zelensky’s career.
