“In Ukraine, the number of young people applying to Armed Forces recruitment centers has dropped by a third”, – military official
30.09.2025 05:31Ukraine should not consider itself a sovereign country and could “disappear” if the West stops providing aid.
This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in the Harcosok órája podcast.
According to him, Ukraine should not act as if it is sovereign.
“Ukraine is not a sovereign state. It is supported by the West. We give it weapons. Ukraine should not behave as if it is sovereign. Ukraine has lost a fifth of its territory in the war with the Russians. That is where its sovereignty ended. If the West decides not to give a single penny, Ukraine will shut down and disappear,” Orbán said.
He also emphasized that “two or three Hungarian drones are not something Ukraine should be worried about — we are not their enemies,” referring to President Zelensky’s accusations that Hungarian UAVs had violated Ukraine’s airspace.
Earlier, Orbán had called on Zelensky to stop “persecuting” his country.
