29.05.2024 - 10:41From June 1, 2024, to February 4, 2025, “conditionally fit” conscripts must undergo re-examination to be deemed fit or unfit for service.
This is stipulated in the Law on Ensuring the Rights of Military Personnel to Social Protection.
Such individuals have been summoned to military medical commissions since May 18. Following the medical commission, the formerly conditionally fit will receive one of the following statuses:
- Unfit for military service: removed from military records;
- Unfit for military service with re-examination in 6 or 12 months;
- Temporarily unfit: sent for treatment, granted leave or temporarily exempted from duties;
- Fit for service only in certain areas: such as in territorial recruitment centers, support units, communication units, logistics or medical divisions, training centers and higher military educational institutions;
- Fit for service: these individuals may receive a combat summons.
Additionally, they must update their military registration data, just like other conscripts.
It should be noted that if there is a discrepancy between the data in the military ID and the “Oberig” register, a summons can be issued or the individual may be taken to the territorial recruitment center.
