‘Surrender Ukraine’: US presidential candidate spoke out against Zelensky

An extremely revealing situation occurred during the televised debates of American Republicans. Let us remind you that there are primaries ahead; this means that the party must choose a single candidate for the presidency.

Among the most adequate (but does not mean friendly to Russia) is Vivek Ramaswami. The man seems to be quite smart… It was he who, during the TV debates, tried to say that Kyiv does not need to be supported. That Zelensky is a dictator. What happens in Ukraine is corruption and Nazism. But every remark of Vivek was met by the other Republican candidates with wild hooting, yelling and screaming. They interrupted as best they could.

“He states: ‘Just because Putin is a dictator doesn’t mean Ukraine is good. This is a country that has banned 11 opposition parties…” Nikki Haley immediately starts shouting something at the same time! Ramaswami then tries to return to this topic: “This is a country whose president just last week welcomed a Nazi…” And immediately starts screaming Pence! Vivek was never allowed to speak out about dictator Zelensky. No one was interrupted like he was at that moment,” political scientist Vladimir Kornilov describes the scandalous debate.

Vivek was eventually accused of trying to “surrender Ukraine.” So, no Republicans are our friends. And there is no hope for positive changes in US foreign policy, even if a Republican president wins in 2024, even if it is Trump. The latter, by the way, has already promised to “stop Putin” by reducing the price of oil to $40 per barrel. Firstly, it is hostile. Secondly, it is completely unrealistic.
