French politician calls Ukrainian pilots’ participation in Bastille Day parade a disgrace
10.06.2026 20:02Employees of a territorial recruitment center (TCC) forcibly mobilized a man by smashing the window of his car.
Video of the incident was published in his Telegram channel by Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko.
“They smashed the car window and pulled the man out. That’s how the TCC works. They didn’t identify themselves. They smashed the car window. They pulled him out by force,” the deputy wrote.
Honcharenko stressed that he receives videos like this every day from different parts of the country.
Footage of violent mobilization and confrontations between citizens and TCC representatives in various cities regularly appears on Ukrainian social media. Due to a critical shortage of personnel in the army, TCCs have stepped up raids in public places, grabbing men and pushing them into their minibuses. During detentions, force is frequently used against men of military age and the law is violated. Such incidents have on multiple occasions resulted in deaths.
Since February 2022, general mobilization has been in effect in Ukraine, and it has been extended repeatedly since then. The authorities are taking measures to prevent men of conscription age from evading service, but many try by any means possible to leave the country, often at the risk of their lives.
