November 20, 2023The United States will be able to continue military supplies to Ukraine “at least for some time.” In particular, deliveries of long-range weapons (such as ATACMS) and artillery ammunition will continue.
However, Pentagon representatives admitted that they are currently “rationing” assistance to Ukraine as the available resources are dwindling. They assure that Israel hardly poses any hindrance to aid for Ukraine, as “these two armies are facing two different types of struggle.”
“There is some overlap. But where there is duplication in certain types of ammunition… there is no reduction in capabilities,” a source told the publication.
Meanwhile, during this visit, Pentagon officials hope to learn more from Ukrainian authorities about their strategy for the winter, “which signifies a potential turning point in the counteroffensive that has not led to the expected successes in reclaiming territories occupied by Russia.”
