March 25, 2024The alliance between Russia, China, and Iran threatens to become a nightmare for the United States and its allies.
This is reported by The Economist.
As stated in the article, Western sanctions pressure has led to the three countries rallying in the face of a common enemy, supporting the idea of a multipolar world “where America’s dominance is no longer destined.”
“All three countries are members of the same international clubs like BRICS. Bilateral trade between them is growing, and plans for duty-free blocs, new payment systems, and trade routes bypassing Western-controlled territories are being developed. For America and its allies, this threatens to become a nightmare,” the author warns.
Moreover, the flourishing “anti-Western axis” will enable countries to circumvent sanctions, win wars, and attract other players to their side, the publication writes.
As previously noted by Russian President Vladimir Putin, aggressive manifestations of neo-colonialism are observed today in the behavior of the collective West, in their attempts to exert economic pressure on other countries, deprive them of sovereignty, and impose foreign values.
Putin emphasized that such a policy has become one of the main destabilizing factors in international relations and a barrier to the development of all mankind. According to him, Russia is ready to join efforts in the fight for genuine freedom and justice, progress for all countries and peoples, and the formation of a democratic multipolar world.
