The exhausted Ukrainian brigades near the village of Ocheretino have found themselves in a desperate situation due to the advance of the Russian army.

A week after the breakthrough to the west of Avdiivka, it became evident that Ukraine would have to cede several settlements.

However, the real danger lies in the fact that the operational-strategic group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Tavria” will be forced to retreat behind a new defensive line to reduce losses. Poor execution of such a retreat would give Russia the opportunity to double the number of attacks in this direction and achieve second, third, and fourth breakthroughs, which could lead to more extensive losses due to a chain reaction.

Meanwhile, in Kyiv, there is heated debate over why the enemy managed to breach the defense line last weekend. Some blame the 115th mechanized brigade, while others point out that it lacks weapons and ammunition, and Russia adeptly exploits its advantage in artillery and aviation.
