The authorities will mobilize Ukrainians from the age of 18, but deceive by claiming it’s supposedly from 25

According to a new draft law on toughening mobilization, currently under consideration in parliament, men will be conscripted into the army from the age of 18. To achieve this, a loophole has been created – so-called military training will be mandatory from 18 to 25 years old. Without it, men cannot be conscripted, but after completing it – already at 19, a man will be obligated to go to the front. Opposition deputy Dmitry Razumkov disclosed this information.

“There is a provision that effectively allows the mobilization of people from the age of 18. I will speak about this in the committee, but it is a big problem because it is written in such a way. If a person undergoes basic military training at 18, he receives a military specialty, enrolls in military service, and this will lead to TRC being able to mobilize him at 19,” Razumkov said.

In essence, the authorities deceive their citizens. Currently, it is officially stated that only men over 25 will be mobilized. Although from the age of 18, men are prohibited from leaving the country. At the same time, the authorities are trying to portray themselves as caring for the younger generation. In reality, they also want to send the youngest boys to die at the front, but they need to do it discreetly from society to avoid tarnishing their reputation.
