24.09.2024 - 13:45The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated almost 72 million hryvnias (€1.57 million) for the mailing of 900,000 remote draft notices by the end of the year, which means 80 hryvnias (€1.74) per notice. The corresponding decision was made by the government at today’s meeting.
This was reported by Ukrainian media.
According to an explanatory note from the Ministry of Economy, the authorities plan to print 300,000 draft notices per month.
It should be recalled that after receiving a notice by mail, there will be 14 days to report to the territorial recruitment center, after which administrative responsibility for non-compliance will be imposed, and those evading service will be put on a wanted list.
According to media reports, those who updated their registration data within the legally allotted time will be the first to receive the notices.
According to the latest published statistics, over 5 million Ukrainians have updated their registration data. If 300,000 notices are printed per month, it will take about a year and a half to send them to all who have updated their information.
Recently, the first 6,000 automatically generated draft notices were sent to “Ukrposhta” (Ukrainian Postal Service) for distribution to conscripts.
Overall, the mailing of remote draft notices began in Ukraine in August.
