“Zelensky will have to make concessions if the Russian Armed Forces continue their offensive,” – Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
05.12.2024 - 09:34Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Ryabkov stated that Russia is willing to consider proposals from newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Ukraine.
He made this statement in an interview with CNN, a network closely aligned with the Democrats.
“When ideas come to us, we will carefully examine them, but rest assured – not at the expense of the fundamental elements of our official position,” said Ryabkov.
He mentioned that, so far, Trump’s team has not contacted Moscow.
It is worth recalling that earlier the media reported an alleged phone call between Trump and Putin. However, Trump’s team did not confirm the call, while Putin’s office denied it.
Recently, Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofeev, one of the most prominent representatives of Russia’s “war party,” stated that the Kremlin would “send” Trump’s Ukraine representative, Keith Kellogg, and his peace plan “to hell.”
However, officially, Moscow declares that it is “ready to carefully examine” Trump’s plan.
