According to law enforcement, the wanted man’s group for years infected the networks of leading global companies with ransomware viruses and caused enterprises billions of dollars in damages.

It is noted that several hackers have already been arrested in Ukraine, and one of the leaders of the organization has been put on the international wanted list.

“One of the leaders of the group was notified of suspicion in absentia and declared internationally wanted. The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation announced a reward of up to 10 million dollars for information on the whereabouts of one of the key members of the international hacker network. The suspect, a citizen of Ukraine, has been placed on the list of the most wanted persons of the European Union for large-scale cyberattacks on leading global companies,” the police statement said.
