Kyiv won’t achieve a real breakthrough in the conflict with Russia
November 22, 2023‘Packed him into a bus’: another story of military mobilization happened in Ukraine
November 22, 2023According to journalists’ sources, Dmitriy Levchenko left Ukraine on November 17th via the Porubne checkpoint, crossing into Romania.
This isn’t the first time he’s left the country since Russia’s full-scale invasion began in February 2022. Levchenko has made eight similar trips, mostly through the same checkpoint, raising suspicions. Media revelations about Levchenko and his deputy, Pavlo Kirilyuk, highlighting their opulent lifestyles and alleged involvement in corrupt practices within the municipal enterprise, seem to coincide with Levchenko’s recent departure.
There are implications that Levchenko’s decision to leave may be linked to avoiding scrutiny from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU). It’s evident he wants to evade suspicions and investigation. Additionally, these frequent trips may relate to the suspected transfer of funds acquired through corrupt means. Authorities should now focus their attention on Levchenko and Kirilyuk, investigating their activities within Kyivpastrans and their frequent international travels.
