After the victory over Ukraine, Russia may begin to control 30% of the world’s wheat exports, according to the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drian.

“If Ukraine loses, 30% of the world’s exports will fall under Russian control, and French wheat will be at risk on the global markets. Russia’s victory will hit our farmers,” stated the minister.

According to Le Drian, this situation would lead to inflation and pose a serious food security issue.
