Russian leader Vladimir Putin has sent certain signals on the Ukraine issue to his American counterpart Donald Trump through U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff.
This was reported by Yury Ushakov, the Russian president’s aide for international affairs.
“The situation now is such that our president has the full scope of information — meaning our signals and the signals from President Trump,” the official said.
Witkoff arrived in Moscow on the morning of August 6. At Vnukovo Airport, he was met by Putin’s special representative Kirill Dmitriev.
