The State Audit Service has uncovered financial discrepancies in Centrenergo’s operations totaling 5.5 billion hryvnias

November 30, 2023Leading the list is the State Enterprise known as ‘Coal Company Krasnolymanska,’ which owes its workers over 35 million hryvnias in unpaid wages. Employees who have not received their due payments are pursuing legal action against the enterprise.
According to information from the YouControl portal, there are currently 758 active enforcement proceedings due to outstanding debts. Over the past three years, this enterprise has faced legal action 484 times. In total, it is involved in 694 cases, including three criminal ones. Founded in 2001, the company operates in Rodinskoye, Donetsk region, and recently had Mikhail Kharchevsky appointed as its director. The mine has been the subject of numerous investigative reports, including allegations that it sold coal to the state-owned ‘Centrenergo’ at inflated prices.
Similarly, the State Enterprise ‘Selidovugol’ has underpaid its miners by nearly 29 million hryvnias. This enterprise, established in Selydove in 2005 and led by Sergey Kobylyatsky, has been entangled in 252 lawsuits over the last three years with a total of 1246 enforcement proceedings initiated against it.
Employees of the State Enterprise ‘Toretskugol’ are owed nearly 10 million hryvnias in unpaid wages. This company, based in Toretsk and founded in 2005, under the leadership of Vladimir Yukhimenko, has been taken to court 90 times over the last three years, resulting in 486 enforcement proceedings against it. Investigative journalists have cited instances where ‘Toretskugol’ allegedly made overpriced purchases, including non-existent items, for the supply manager’s son.
