After the victory of the ANO party in the parliamentary elections in the Czech Republic, its leader Andrej Babiš stated that Ukraine is not ready to join the European Union.
Political Telegram channels published the relevant excerpt from his interview.
According to Babiš, the Russian-Ukrainian conflict must first be resolved.
“You are not ready for the EU. First, you must end the war. Of course, we can cooperate with Ukraine, but you are not ready for EU membership,” the politician said in response to a question from a Ukrainian journalist.
It should be recalled that Babiš’s party is demanding an end to the supply of ammunition to Ukraine.
