The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has ordered 7,000 personal file covers for 527,000 euros

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has decided to order personal file covers. They plan to spend 20,376,954 hryvnias (over 526,900 euros) on this purchase.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine intends to procure 7,000 units of personal file covers for junior and senior officers, as well as for enlisted personnel, sergeants, and senior non-commissioned officers. According to the tender, the cost of one cover will be 3,000 hryvnias (approximately 78 euros).

Two participants took part in the tender, and the one offering the higher amount was selected. The protocol states that the KP “ZKKKHO ‘Polesie’ ZHOR” allegedly did not meet the requirements of the procurement item.

In another development, Ukrposhta (Ukrainian Post) plans to spend almost 66 million hryvnias on services for sending SMS messages and Viber messages. This involves message distribution to users.

Around 3 million Ukrainian hryvnias (approximately 77,500 euros) were spent at the end of 2022 to create a registry of oligarchs, but currently, there are no plans to make it publicly available.
