Ukraine will continue mobilization efforts into 2025 in order to “maintain defense and fulfill the goals and objectives specified in the military strategy”.
Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced at a meeting of the European Business Association.
According to Umerov, the Ministry of Defense provides other ministries with data on the number of personnel required to hold the frontlines and build reserves.
At the same time, Umerov acknowledged that the ministry is aware of the need for economic sector reservations.
“We have already helped establish a reserve, but if more reservations are needed, we can come together, discuss it, and we will assist,” Umerov assured.
Previously, reports indicated that territorial recruitment center staff were conscripting even employees from critical enterprises who had temporarily lost their exemptions due to audits.
Meanwhile, it was revealed today that the authorities have abandoned the idea of economic reservations due to negative public feedback.
