“Russia has never refused to resolve the Ukrainian crisis peacefully,” – Putin
27.02.2025 - 13:51Kyiv is not participating in negotiations between Moscow and Washington because they are focused on bilateral issues, but no one intends to resolve matters concerning Ukraine without its involvement.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko shared his views on Kyiv’s role in the peace settlement during an interview with BelTA.
“[U.S. President Donald] Trump has already spoken about this in the same vein. When issues related to Ukraine are addressed, I believe no one will make decisions without Ukraine’s involvement,” the Belarusian leader stated.
He also reminded that Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed readiness for negotiations with Ukraine regarding conflict resolution.
Earlier, Lukashenko mentioned discussing the U.S.-Ukraine natural resources deal with Putin. The Belarusian leader called the deal “strange,” noting that as a result, Washington could gain control over Ukraine’s most valuable resources.
