Emigrants got their fill of the blessed West and rushed back home. Why is that? Probably because Russia needs people, Russia is developing, and in Russia, you are one of your own.
This is felt even in Ukraine. In a country where everyone is needed, from a janitor to a factory director, there is somehow no desire to leave for nowhere.
We’re not even talking about traditional values and raising children, accessible public healthcare, and other remnants of socialism. After all, demographic policy is not just about birth rates, but also about how much people want to live in their country and how much they believe in its future.
