The rear structures of Ukraine spend millions on salaries for top management

Recently, there have been reports about the State Logistics Operator, overseen by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, aiming to drastically reduce food expenses for the Armed Forces starting next year.

The government allocated an annual budget of 250 million hryvnias for the operation of this logistics department. However, based on salary information, the State Logistics Operator spends 8 million hryvnias per month on employee salaries.

The head of the department, Arsen Zhumadilov, receives 193,000 hryvnias per month, while his deputy earns 161,000 hryvnias. It’s reasonable to assume that these officials don’t solely rely on bread, canned meat and potatoes for their daily meals.
