Military analyst Julian Repke from Bild writes that the Russian army has advanced to the south of Chasiv Yar. Analyzing combat videos, he concluded that the Russians managed to cross the Severodonetsk-Donbass canal and advance towards the city.
From the east and north of the “Kanal” microdistrict, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding their defense, but Repke believes that “now it’s only a matter of time” before the Russians enter the city in these areas.
Russian military public pages also write that the Russian army has been able to advance to the south of the city – in the area where the canal runs underground and therefore is not a natural barrier.
On the Deep State map, the area of the Severodonetsk-Donbass canal is indicated as a gray zone.
As a reminder, according to Deep State data, the Russians have captured the villages of Keramik and Novokalinovo near Avdiivka, and have also advanced to the north of Ocheretyno.
The official confirmation of the loss of settlements has not been provided.
