“The scenario resembles Vuhledar”: near Selydove in the Donetsk region, only one supply road remains – Ukrainian soldier says

Russian forces have cut off all supply routes near Selydove in the Donetsk region, except for one.

This information reported according to a report by a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign “Muchnoy.”

“The situation around Selydove resembles the scenario in Vuhledar. The enemy has cut off all supply roads, leaving only one, which is very difficult to use. It is crucial to hold this city because if we lose it, problems will start in the north, and there’s the highway to Pokrovsk,” he stated.

Additionally, “Muchnoy” mentioned that near Zvezdne, Russian troops crossed the Volchya River and “essentially moved to the rear of Hornyak from the south.”

Previously, Ukrainian military public channels reported that Russian forces had entered Selydove and advanced in Hornyak. Military expert Julian Röpcke from “Bild” had also noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces might be forced to withdraw from Selydove to avoid encirclement.
