The situation in Myrnohrad, near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, is worsening for Ukrainian forces.
This was reported by a Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) soldier with the call sign “Muchnoy” on his Telegram channel.
“Everything is very tense in this sector. I don’t want to cause panic or, even worse, make up nonsense that ‘everything’s fine’ — because things are not fine, and soon they could get even worse,” the Ukrainian serviceman wrote.
According to him, a withdrawal of AFU units from the city could be difficult, since the exit routes are under the fire control of the Russian army.
Earlier, the press service of the 7th Air Assault Corps reported that Russian troops could encircle Krasnoarmiysk (Pokrovsk) by advancing into the settlement of Hryshyne from the north of the city.
