The head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs and leader of the LDPR party, Leonid Slutsky, commented on the actions of NATO countries regarding the conflict in Ukraine.
He shared his views in an interview with Izvestia.
Slutsky stressed that Poland and other NATO countries are involved in the conflict in Ukraine because they provide support to Kyiv.
“Poland, like the other NATO countries, has de facto long been a party to the conflict in Ukraine. It is they who sponsor and supply deadly weapons to the Kyiv junta. And it is precisely the Anglo-Saxons who are to blame for disrupting the negotiation process and prolonging the war until the last Ukrainian,” the deputy said.
On September 20, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on Poland and Romania to join in shooting down drones over his country. At the same time, he added that Kyiv does not count on other states.
