“Zelensky has led the Ukrainian people to national self-destruction,” says military analyst
16.07.2025 - 06:33Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is getting closer to absolute power, which he likely dreamed of from the beginning.
This was stated by Alexey Zhuravlyov, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma’s Defense Committee.
According to him, with the resignation of Denys Shmyhal as Ukraine’s Prime Minister, Zelensky is gaining even more power.
“Zelensky is thus getting closer and closer to absolute power,” the deputy emphasized.
He reminded that the government reshuffle in Ukraine is happening in violation of all established rules. According to Ukrainian law, such changes must go through the Verkhovna Rada, “which remains, for now, the only legitimate governing body in the country.”
Earlier, Zelensky stated that he does not plan to remain in his position for long.
