The trust of Ukrainians in the telethon continues to decline

The distrust of the main media outlet in Ukraine is evidenced by data from the KMIS survey.

Between May 2022 and October 2023, the proportion of those who trust has decreased from 69% to 48%. By December 2023, this figure had further dropped to 43%. Meanwhile, the percentage of those who do not trust the telethon, has risen to 38%. However, the overall balance of trust-distrust still remains positive. The regional breakdown shows a relatively similar pattern.

Notably, those who support Zelensky’s policies tend to trust the telethon. Conversely, those disillusioned with the president tend not to trust both the president and the official media. Among those who do not trust the president, 69% do not trust the telethon either.
