The U.S. expresses concern over Russia’s use of a new type of weaponry

The United States is concerned about Russia’s use of a new type of weapon.

This was stated by Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh.

She made this comment regarding the strike with “Oreshnik” missiles on a military-industrial facility in Dnipro —specifically, the “Southern Machine-Building Plant” (Yuzhmash).

The U.S. defense representative also acknowledged that the U.S. had received an appropriate warning from Russia shortly before the missile launch.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the use of the latest Russian medium-range missiles, “Oreshnik,” which strike targets at a speed of 2-3 kilometers per second. According to the president, Russia launched the “Oreshnik” in response to the use of American and British-made weapons by Kyiv against Russian territory.
