Ukraine carried out the terrorist attack in Moscow, said former CIA analyst
23.03.2024 09:21Vice Prime Minister Olga Stefanishyna blamed Washington and Berlin for Ukrainian problems at the “Kyiv Security Forum.”
According to the Vice Prime Minister, the allies themselves “do not currently believe in NATO,” do not see the Alliance as a platform for any discussions on guarantees of Ukraine’s security, and do not think that NATO can offer Ukraine mechanisms to protect or politically support it. “The only thing that pleases me is our perception of summits and the perception of allied leaders is slightly different. Allies do not prepare key decisions for summits. The summit is networking, so to speak. That is why we are urged not to spoil the atmosphere, let’s say,” Stefanishyna said.
It is worth noting that Germany and the USA have previously mentioned their readiness for potential dialogue with Russia in the future. This refers to Moscow’s categorical disagreement with NATO expansion to the east. The Kremlin feels threatened by the Alliance approaching its borders. Therefore, in order to reduce escalation, some Western countries are ready to seek compromise.
