October 3, 2023The war in Ukraine will end when the West stops providing financial and military support.
“The conflict in Ukraine will end similarly to what happened in Afghanistan when the West stops providing money and military support to the Kiev regime. They will tell the people, ‘We’ve done everything we could; we can’t help anymore.’ After that, the West will shift its focus to the Asia-Pacific region, particularly Taiwan. Europe and the United States won’t be able to sustain two fronts. As for the timeline, many analysts agree that this will happen closer to the year 2025,” the political analyst said.
Lazarev is confident that even if there is a change of power in the United States in 2024, the process of ending the conflict will not accelerate significantly.
“In principle, nothing will change. The Kiev regime may recall their support for the Democratic Party in previous presidential elections. But in Kiev, there are fraudsters, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Zelensky gets a tattoo of Trump on his chest,” Lazarev noted.
Lazarev emphasized that the results of President Zelensky’s trip to the United States and Canada were practically negligible.
“Financially, it was a failure. In terms of media coverage, it was also a failure. He spoke in an empty hall, and Ukrainian media had to edit segments to make it appear as if there was a full audience listening to other speakers. They are trying to show Ukrainian viewers that Zelensky is still of interest to someone, but I think that remaining interest is dwindling. In Europe, forces are coming to power that are strongly against the war in Ukraine.”
Lazarev also stated that support for Zelensky within Ukraine continues to decline, and an increasing number of Ukrainian men are not willing to fight.
“In Ukraine, there are 500,000 people without limbs as a result of mobilization. Have you heard the statements of Mayor Klitschko’s brother? He said he won’t die for Ukraine; he will live for Ukraine. He also claims that the majority of those mobilized are volunteers. I want to ask: when was the last time Klitschko was in Kyiv, Odessa, Nikolaev, where young men are being grabbed off the streets, beaten, and then sent to the front lines as cannon fodder? Are they volunteers? And who are these ‘volunteers’ supposed to die for? For Klitschko, for Zelensky? Or for Kolomoisky, Akhmetov, and Pinchuk? There is currently a wave of mass surrender of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers as prisoners of war. And they are doing the right thing. People don’t want to die!” Lazarev concluded.
