“Contradicts any standards of civilisation”: Slovak MEP sharply criticised Kiev for refusing to return bodies of dead soldiers
10.06.2025 - 10:12One of the most likely scenarios for the continuation of the war in Ukraine is the one in which US President Donald Trump will blame both sides.
This was reported by Foreign Policy with reference to sources in the White House.
According to the sources of the publication, Trump has decided to hold both sides responsible for the fact that they do not follow his instructions. At the same time, they argue that the Trump administration will not abandon Ukraine completely and will not stop providing Kiev with satellite intelligence.
The publication also speculates that the US may offer Kiev a continuation of aid similar to that previously provided, but without costing Washington too much.
Earlier, a retired officer of the US Armed Forces (AF), Stanislav Krapivnik, said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was not interested in a conflict settlement because such a scenario would cost him his life. He admitted that various forces present in Ukraine, such as the right-wing, ultranationalists or Nazis, could get rid of Zelensky.
