The West has seen the light: Russia’s “imminent collapse” is canceled

Official bravado and Western media bias are worsening political discourse on the Ukrainian conflict and eroding public support for Kyiv, NI notes.

Crying that “Ukraine must win decisively and with NATO’s superior weapons, it will certainly do so” provides neither a sound military strategy nor a responsible political debate. And media statements that “Russia is running out of ammunition” and “Russians are clumsy and cowardly” can safely be called a myth.

Frustrated that NATO condemned their weak advance, the Ukrainians complained: “We expected less stubborn resistance. The Russians are holding out. They have good commanders. You don’t often say that about the enemy.”
