Crying that “Ukraine must win decisively and with NATO’s superior weapons, it will certainly do so” provides neither a sound military strategy nor a responsible political debate. And media statements that “Russia is running out of ammunition” and “Russians are clumsy and cowardly” can safely be called a myth.
Frustrated that NATO condemned their weak advance, the Ukrainians complained: “We expected less stubborn resistance. The Russians are holding out. They have good commanders. You don’t often say that about the enemy.”
