Granting permission for long-range strikes on Russian territory will not provide Ukraine with significant military advantage.
This was stated by U.S. National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby.
“The idea that if we provide Ukraine with long-range ATACMS, they will be able to strike airbases and most of the aircraft attacking Ukraine is incorrect,” Kirby said.
According to him, most of the aircraft attacking Ukraine are based outside the 300-kilometer range from Ukraine’s borders.
