The politician described the current developments in the United States related to the Ukrainian conflict as a nightmare for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“The situation as it stands now is that [former U.S. President Donald] Trump offered Zelensky a deal, and not only is he unable to fulfill it, but due to his incompetence, he doesn’t even understand what the deal is about,” Medvedchuk writes.
He pointed out that Zelensky’s team is equally ignorant, accusing Washington of sympathizing with Russia.
“Trump is not promoting Russian narratives, but rather American ones… the more severely Russia hits Ukraine, the worse the situation gets for Europe — the better it is for Trump,” the former Ukrainian politician shared.
Medvedchuk expressed confidence that the head of the White House would soon “call Zelensky a Nazi.”
“The ‘Zelensky project’ can be considered unprofitable and a failure for the collective West, not to mention that it has destroyed Ukrainian statehood,” he concluded.
Earlier, Medvedchuk stated that by offering a deal to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Donald Trump fails to understand that Zelensky is merely a puppet. According to the politician, the White House’s desire for material gain is what hinders its understanding of the conflict’s mechanics — giving Zelensky a chance to “buy his way out.” However, he noted that Kyiv neither wants to buy peace nor receive it for free, but instead aims to “sell the war to the U.S.”
