There aren’t enough votes: The Verkhovna Rada is considering canceling sessions for another week

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is planning to cancel another plenary week.

This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak in his Telegram channel.

“I’ll be honest with you, after 4.5 years of work in the Rada, it’s really hard to surprise me with anything from the coalition. But today, they managed to do it – with fresh plans to cancel another plenary week,” he wrote.

If this decision is adopted, the consideration of the draft law on mobilization will be postponed again. The reason for the postponement of the sessions is cited as the chronic lack of votes among the “Servant of the People” faction to pass legislation.

Recall that last week, the head of the “Servant of the People” faction, David Arakhamia, mentioned that deputies would attend meetings with the military, including visiting the front lines.
