Videos have surfaced online from Ivano-Frankivsk showing men assaulting random passersby, including elderly individuals, on the streets, using gas canisters.

This was reported by the police of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

“During the monitoring of social networks, police officers discovered a video in which unknown individuals commit unlawful actions against residents of Ivano-Frankivsk, particularly elderly people,” the statement said.

It is reported that no one has sought assistance from law enforcement, and there have been no reports to the police either.

Currently, law enforcement officers are investigating the information posted online about the assault of people, identifying the victims, and all those involved in the hooliganism.
