A high-profile assassination attempt on police officers took place in Kyiv.

This was reported by journalists citing sources within law enforcement agencies.

“At 10:30, a woman called the Pechersk police station and reported being a victim of domestic violence. Patrol officers arrived at the location and contacted the caller via mobile phone. The woman said she was in the apartment and asked the officers to come in, mentioning that the door was open. When the patrol officers entered the apartment, they encountered a tripwire rigged with a live F-1 grenade, which detonated. Fortunately, the officers reacted quickly and were unharmed,” the source stated.

It was later discovered that the apartment was empty and is available for rent.

It is worth noting that in the spring, a hooligan in Brovary threw a grenade at a pursuing police officer, resulting in both the officer and the attacker being hospitalized.
