August 25, 2023From one of the Republican presidential candidates in the United States, Vivek Ramaswami, a new statement about resolving the military conflict initiated by Russia against Ukraine has emerged.
The video containing this statement is being shared on Telegram channels.
Apparently, the video was recorded right after the preliminary electronic voting in which the young American businessman called for ending support to Ukraine.
Ramaswami stated that he is against military support to Ukraine because it “doesn’t serve America’s interests.”
“My plan to end the war in Ukraine will actually be better for Ukraine. At the very least, they will be able to exit the war with their sovereignty intact. They’re not in that situation right now. Remember my words. This war will end right now if the United States stops intervening and says we’re not going to fund it anymore. Some post-Zelensky military commander will come to power with American military equipment worth a couple of hundred billion dollars. Just like what happened after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. And you see how far that’s gone,” Ramaswami stated.
To recap, Vivek Ramaswami, an American entrepreneur of Indian origin, is vying to participate in the U.S. presidential elections as a Republican candidate and is currently ranked third in polls after Trump and DeSantis.
