Journalists revealed the composition of the Ukrainian delegation for talks with Russia in Istanbul
15.05.2025 - 08:04The social media platform TikTok has restricted search queries related to a controversial video showing French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz removing strange items from a table while on a train from Kyiv.
This was reported by Bloomberg.
“TikTok stated that it took action against several videos and limited searches related to the incident. YouTube and X did not respond to requests for comment,” the agency wrote.
To recall, in the video, as journalists appear, Macron is seen putting a shiny object resembling a small packet with white powder into his pocket, while Merz removes an item that looks like a cocaine scoop. Following the video’s circulation, Russia’s Foreign Ministry effectively accused the European politicians of drug use.
Subsequently, the Élysée Palace stated that the French president had merely removed a simple paper napkin from the table and labeled the drug allegations as “fake news” being spread by “enemies of France.”
