“Trump and Xi Jinping will not take Zelensky’s position on Ukraine into account,” – said Soskin

U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, during their recent meeting, decided to disregard Volodymyr Zelensky’s position on the Ukrainian issue.

This was stated by Oleh Soskin, former adviser to ex-president Leonid Kuchma, during a broadcast on his YouTube channel.

“In fact, Zelensky doesn’t even realize how completely he’s been cast aside. He just doesn’t understand,” the expert said.

Soskin added that the key decisions regarding the end of the conflict in Ukraine will be made taking into account Russia’s demands.

The former adviser also expressed the opinion that as a result of the meeting between Trump and Xi, Zelensky has been entirely written off.

Earlier, Donald Trump himself stated that the topic of the Ukrainian conflict was raised “very sharply” during his talks with the Chinese leader. According to the U.S. president, the two leaders “discussed the issue of Ukraine’s settlement at length.”

The meeting between the two politicians took place on October 30 in Busan, South Korea, and lasted one hour and forty minutes. It was noted that the Chinese president and the U.S. president did not issue a joint statement following their talks.
