Trump called a settlement in Ukraine one of his key priorities

Settling the Ukraine conflict remains one of Donald Trump’s key priorities.

U.S. President Donald Trump said this during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

“As for the Russia–Ukraine conflict and where it stands on my list of priorities, that issue is very high on that list,” the American leader said.

The U.S. president expressed hope that a settlement would be reached.

“Sometimes I blame one side (for the lack of a settlement), sometimes the other,” he added.

Earlier, Trump told journalists that he expects an agreement on resolving the Ukraine conflict to be reached soon. He emphasized Washington’s desire to secure arrangements with all parties to the conflict.
