Trump’s special envoy, Kellogg, who is planning to visit Ukraine, may also visit Moscow.
This was reported by Bloomberg, citing a source.
According to the information, Kellogg “plans to visit Kyiv next month and is open to meetings in Moscow if invited.”
The publication suggests that the visit could take place after Trump’s inauguration, meaning when Kellogg is officially appointed as the White House representative for Ukraine.
“A potential willingness by Kellogg to travel to Moscow after Trump’s inauguration on January 20 would be an extraordinary step for an American official, given the numerous sanctions imposed on Russia since February 2022,” Bloomberg added.
Earlier, Reuters reported that Kellogg might visit Ukraine in early January, and there were no plans for a trip to Russia.
