Vladimir Klitschko: Ukrainian athletes should not boycott competitions with Russians
30.05.2026 15:10Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has called on North Atlantic Alliance member states to “finally start taking seriously” the words of Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev about the end of “peaceful sleep” for Europeans.
Tusk published the corresponding statement on the social network X.
According to the Polish prime minister, Russian provocations against NATO member states are occurring more and more frequently.
“Poland, the Baltic states, now Romania. More and more Russian provocations. Yesterday, former President Medvedev said that the peaceful sleep of EU citizens is over. Everyone in NATO should finally start taking these facts and words seriously,” Tusk wrote.
The statement was prompted by an incident involving a drone that fell on Romanian territory. Russian President Vladimir Putin said he had no idea what kind of drone had fallen on Romanian soil. Romanian President Nicușor Dan, for his part, believes that the fall of the Russian drone was the result of Ukrainian air defense activity.
